Position Overview:
Are you a seasoned Heavy Machinery Mechanic with over 20 years of hands-on experience? We're looking for someone like you to take on the role of Warehouse supervisor and Senior Heavy Machinery Mechanic. This position requires expertise in gearbox maintenance and repair, combined with strong managerial skills to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be autonomous, self-driven, and capable of managing contractors effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of heavy machinery gearboxes.
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including stock managemen8, organization, and safety.
- Coordinate with suppliers to order necessary parts, tools, and equipment.
- Liaise with external contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior mechanics and warehouse staff.
- Compliance with company procedures, workplace health and safety laws.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 20 years of experience as a heavy machinery mechanic, focusing on gearbox maintenance and repair.
- Mechanical trade certificate is required.
- Relevant certifications and licenses such as forklift operator license and warehousing operations are advantageous.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary: ranging depending on experience and qualifications between $70,000 & $95,000 per year.
