Heavy Vehicle Technician

We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join a thriving national business specialising in the repair and maintenance of trucks and coaches. Based in the workshops in Melbourne

The job:

You will join a vibrant and growing team of staff at their workshop. Working on recent models of trucks and coaches you will be responsible for repair and maintenance including the use of computer diagnostics working to deadlines and also paperwork associated with the above on vehicles you have worked on. Experience on emergency call-outs will also be required. Overtime and weekend work will be available.

To be successful in gaining this position we require:

Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic with recent large truck or coach experience with a minimum of 2 years post apprenticeship experience.
The ability to work in a team environment
Communication skills including the ability to maintain record.
What's on offer:

Base rate - $39-$45 per hour plus superannuation

You will be offered an excellent rate of pay according to experience, together with overtime opportunities.
