Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and flexible Housekeeper/Housemaker/Mum's Helper to assist a busy family with various household tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning, house management, and childcare. A valid driver's license, a Working with Children Check, and access to a car are required. This role involves working on a set schedule, as detailed below.
Work Schedule
• Monday: 11:30am to 8:30pm
• Tuesday: 12:00pm to 8:00pm
• Wednesday: 12:00pm to 8:00pm
• Thursday: 11:30am to 8:30pm
• Friday: 10:00am to 4:00pm
Key Responsibilities
• Housekeeping: Perform cleaning and house management tasks, including cleaning bedrooms, living rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, gym area, and outdoor entertainment area.
• Childcare Support: Pick up children from specified locations and drive them to their activities. Specific pickup times include:
• General Errands: Run light errands, such as grocery shopping, during children's activities.
• Pet Care: Occasionally assist with pet care.
• House Management: Assist with maintaining a clean and organized home, ensuring common areas are tidy and presentable.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• A valid driver's license and access to a car.
• A Working with Children Check.
• At least three years of experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Flexibility in scheduling and the ability to adapt to changing plans.
Work Environment
This role involves working in a private household in NSW. You should be comfortable with a family environment and interact positively with children and pets. The position involves a regular weekly schedule, as outlined above.
