Role Overview:
As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth by cultivating relationships and securing new business opportunities within the blue-collar industrial sector. Supported by our team of skilled recruitment consultants, you will work closely with the director to execute a well-structured growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture relationships to win new business within blue-collar industries including manufacturing, warehouses, logistics, and trade.
- Independently manage workload to achieve growth results aligned with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and alignment of objectives.
- Maintain and update the database with meaningful activity to drive informed decision-making.
- Negotiate terms of business, present proposals, and attend sales meetings to secure new business opportunities.
- Conduct client visits as necessary, with the advantage of having a car (fuel allowances covered by the company).
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience, with a focus on labour hire.
- Proven track record in business development and successful sales negotiation.
- Background in sales within the recruitment industry.
- Passion for recruitment and driving business growth.
- Strong commercial acumen, ensuring successful sales and profitability.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, adapting to change and working under pressure.
- Enjoyment of new business development and the autonomy to work independently while being part of a team.
- Possession of a sales background with a network of potential leads is highly desirable.
