Application Architect

LOCATION: MELBOURNE, VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA
JOB TITLE: APPLICATION ARCHITECT

THE ROLE:
As a Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, modifying, and implementing new or existing software products. Your duties will include liaising with the development managers, writing clean, scalable code, creating testing protocols, fixing bugs, and deploying programs.

Key responsibilities:
- Functional and technical expertise to develop technical design specifications for Salesforce software and database solutions.
- Assisting in Product planning processes
- Developing applications to agreed standards, including test designs, user, and system documentation.
- Monitor and review build output to provide guidance and ensure development, implementation, and review activities are completed as designed and according to standards.
- Assist with technical issues.
- Act on any identified process improvements that will assist in an improved and more responsive delivery outcome.
- Ability to work in a high paced and agile environment, delivering value with our colleagues, using DevOps practices.
- Undertaking impact analysis of proposed application changes and problems.

Key Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering
- Previous work experience with application and software development
- Experience developing customer facing interfaces.
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM platforms
- Proficient in SOQL, Apex, JavaScript, Visual Force and Lightning Web Components
- Working in knowledge of Visual Studio Code, mavens Mate or eclipse
- Good communication skills
- Ability to problem solve high-level software application issues.
- Ideal Skills: LWC, Omni studio and velocity.
