HD Diesel Mechanic

Offroad Trucks Australia Pty Ltd are a highly respected and thriving privately owned heavy vehicles business servicing the the mining, drilling and emergency services sectors.

We are looking for an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel/Truck Mechanic to join us.

This is a Full time Position (40 hours per week minimum). Commensurate with experience, you will be remunerated at $120,000 to $150,000 perineum + Superannuation.

The Position
Reporting to our highly supportive Maintenance Manager, your major responsibilities will include:
Perform pre-delivery checks and assist with fit outs on new vehicles. Conduct routine maintenance inspections on vehicles and identify potential issues or ' areas of concern. Perform complex diagnostics to determine the cause of malfunctions or issues. Carry out re-builds, repairs and replacements on engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other components. Utilise specialised tools, equipment, and diagnostics to efficiently troubleshoot and rectify issues. Adhere to manufacturer specifications and guidelines while conducting repairs and maintenance.
Provide technical guidance and assistance to less-experienced team members when necessary.
Stay up to date with industry advancements, new technologies, and Tatra specifications.

What we need
Ideally, we are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
Minimum two (2) years post trade experience as a Diesel Mechanic
