Job Description
Our growing FMCG business located on the Mornington Peninsula, is looking for an energetic, passionate & highly experienced Horticulture Section Manager
Duties will include:
· Ensure that all specification for seeding and planting are satisfied
· Assess quality of work and take corrective actions where applicable
· Ensure that seed stock / levels / usage are managed as per company procedures
· Liaise with Farm Operation Manager / Agronomist where required
· Ensure that all seeding equipment is maintain as per procedures
· Monitor germination to ensure seeds are of acceptable quality
· Ensure all records are maintained
· Ensure all crops are labelled correctly
It is essential you possess the following:
· Hands on and show of commitment
· Successful completion of relevant AQF Cert IV or equivalent AND 1 year (20+hpw) relevant post qualifications experience
· Ability to adapt and display skills required
· Proven ability and willingness to work as part of a team
· Ability to work autonomously, without supervision
