Horticulture Farm Manager

Our Client HUSSEY & CO PTY LTD ABN - xxxxxxx 0246 – Located in Somerville, VIC is seeking a Horticulture Farm Manager Full-time position for between $80,000 - $90,000 a year.

Our growing FMCG business located on the Mornington Peninsula, is looking for an energetic, passionate & highly experienced Horticulture Farm Manager

Duties will include:
· Determining, implementing and monitoring production strategies, policies and plans
· Planning details of production activities in terms of output quality and quantity, cost, time available and labour requirements
· Controlling the operation of production plant and quality procedures through planning of maintenance, designation of operating hours and supply of parts and tools
· Monitoring production output and costs, and adjusting processes and resources to minimise costs
· Informing other Managers about production matters
· Overseeing the acquisition and installation of new plant and equipment
· Directing research into production methods, and recommending and implementing initiatives
· Controlling the preparation of production records and reports
· Coordinating the implementation of occupational health and safety requirements
· Directing staff activities and monitoring their performance

It is essential you possess the following:
· Hands on and show of commitment
· Successful completion of an appropriate degree
· Proven post-qualification experience in a similar role or ability to adapt and display skills required
· Good analytical skills, attention to detail and decision-making ability
· Proven ability and willingness to work as part of a team
· Ability to communicate across all levels of the business
· Ability to work autonomously, without supervision
