As a Account Executive at Resonate you will be driving strong sales within leading regional companies - with a focus on new business.
On the heels of market expansion and growth, Resonate is hiring an Account Executive to join the sales team. Resonate is an Australian Scale-up organisation that has an enterprise Customer Experience (CX) platform (SaaS). Our Voice of Customer and Voice of Employee platform leverages the latest technology including machine learning, text analytics, and data visualizations to help close the loop faster and deliver actionable insights to leading companies. Resonate has a range of flagship customers and rapidly growing brand recognition.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of success selling to senior executives. He/she should also have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, being an early member of the team that has the opportunity to write their own story, capture market share, be mentored by business leaders, and go to new markets. They are an independent self-starter who is ambitious to learn and grow their career by exceeding revenue targets and driving customer advocacy.
Requirements
Must Have?
• At least Bachelor Degree or higher in the related major
• Experience in sourcing, nurturing and progressing leads
• 3-5 years Experience in ICT B2B sales
• Ability to understand client business drivers and ROI
• Solution selling approach
• Ability to work through longer sales cycles with multiple stakeholders driving value
• Ability to make cold calls and follow through with warm leads/referrals
• Generate a substantive sales opportunity pipeline and achieve sales targets
• Update and manage internal CRM and sales systems
• Ability to drive revenue and market share in a defined territory/accounts
• Manage the sales process from the initial opportunity through to the securing the deal
• Experience working with and influencing Senior Leaders in organisations
• Strong verbal and written communications skills with ability to create pitch decks and proposals
• Have a consultative sales style with ability to grow domain knowledge
Nice to Have?
• Experience in the Customer Experience Domain / Data insights / Marketing Tech Sales
• SaaS Sales Experience
• Industry vertical expertise e.g. Retail, B2B, Local Government
Cherry on top?
Experience working in a start-up environment.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000
