Job Description

Origo BPO has an open Accountant position and is seeking a qualified candidate for immediate employment.

Job Summary: As an accountant you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, analyzing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulations and laws.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) on a regular basis.
2. Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records using accounting software and manual systems.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets, monitoring variances, and providing financial forecasts.
4. Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
5. Audit Support: Coordinate and support audits conducted by external auditors, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided.
6. Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and potential areas of financial risk.
7. Advisory Role: Provide financial insights and recommendations to management based on analysis and reports.
8. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
9. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and standards, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
10. Communication: Effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders, including management, investors, and regulatory authorities.

Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ethical behavior and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.

Working Conditions:
• Typically, office-based, working standard hours. May require overtime during peak periods.
• Opportunities for remote work is also available.
