Cook Needed

On behalf of our client, Dojo Legal Australia is looking for skilled and experienced Cook.

Location: Broome, WA 6725

Salary Range: From $66,000 to $74,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Position: Cook

Employment Type: Full Time (38 hours per week)

Skills & Qualifications:

Relevant AQF Certificate IV; and
At least three years of relevant full time or part time equivalent experience in a cook role or a similar position.
A keen eye for detail and commitment to food safety and quality.
Experience in managing kitchen operations and preparing special dietary meals is a plus.
Positive skills assessment from Trades Recognition Australia is a plus.
Applicant must solidly commit to at least 2 to 3 years of permanent full-time employment with the employer.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, season, and cook a variety of delicious dishes in our restaurant.
Examine food to ensure top-notch quality and freshness.
Regulate temperatures of cooking equipment to perfection.
Create mouth-watering dishes while maintaining our high standards for taste and presentation.
Manage food portions, garnishes, and special dietary requirements with flair.
Store food in temperature-controlled environments and plan exciting menus.
Train and support fellow kitchen staff and apprentices.
