Job Description
Position: Personal Care Worker
Salary: $65,835 plus 11.5% super
Hours: 38 hours
Mode: Full time
Location: 38 Turora Street, Moulamein NSW 2733
Experience required: Minimum 2 years’ experience in relevant roles
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of the elderly and disabled? Edward River Gardens is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Worker to join our caring team. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide essential support and companionship to our residents, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities included but not limited to:
• Assist residents with mobility and accompany them during daily activities.
• Provide support with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs.
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
• Arrange and participate in social activities to engage residents.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote well-being.
• Assist with shopping and running errands as required.
• Must be prepared to work flexible shifts.
Qualifications
• Certificate III in Individual Support
• Medication qualification (Preferred but not mandatory)
Skills:
• Experience in aged care or disability services preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide physical assistance to clients with mobility needs.
• Compassionate, reliable, and patient demeanour.
