Parts Interpreter/Storeman (Heavy Vehicle/Plant Workshop)

Our workshop and parts department are growing, and we’re looking for a motivated Parts Interpreter/Storeman to join our crew. Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and interpret parts for heavy vehicles and plant equipment
• Assist customers with parts inquiries, providing expert advice and support
• Maintain accurate inventory and stock control in the parts department
• Coordinate ordering, receiving, and dispatching of parts
• Organize and maintain the parts storage area
• Work closely with the workshop team to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and communication
• Opportunity for apprentices to learn and grow under experienced mentorship

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter or Storeman, preferably in heavy vehicles/plant equipment (preferred but not essential for apprentices)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Basic computer skills for inventory management
• Mechanical or automotive knowledge is an advantage
• Forklift license (preferred but not essential)
