Global Vision Recruitment on Behalf of Frankie B’s Parramatta Trading Pty Ltd
Position: Chef
Salary: $73,000 to $80,000 plus 11.5% superannuation
Hours: 38 hours
Mode: Full time
Location: 291 Church Street, Parramatta NSW 2150
Experience required: Minimum 2 years’ experience in relevant roles.

Frankie B’s is a dynamic and vibrant restaurant in Parramatta known for its exceptional culinary offerings and engaging dining experience. We are seeking two passionate and experienced Chefs to join our kitchen team and contribute to our growing success.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design and plan innovative menus that align with Frankie B’s vision and customer preferences.
• Incorporate seasonal ingredients and culinary trends while ensuring a diverse and nutritionally balanced menu.
• Suggest creative dishes and experiment with recipes that enhance the overall dining experience.
• Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring the preparation and presentation of dishes meet high standards.
• Work closely with waiting staff and management to confirm any allergen-related instructions received from customers.
• Oversee food preparation and provide guidance to kitchen staff on cooking techniques and presentation styles.
• Actively participate in the cooking and plating of dishes during peak hours to maintain efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to address food preparation and service-related issues.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, demonstrating proper cooking methods and kitchen best practices.
• Monitor the quality of ingredients and dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations throughout all kitchen activities.
• Implement and enforce kitchen policies, promoting a safe and clean working environment.
• Manage freezing and preserving of food items as per industry standards to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
Qualifications:
• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (Preferred but not mandatory)
Other Skills and Requirements:
• At least 2 years proven experience in a similar chef role, with a solid background in menu planning and kitchen management.
• Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team of kitchen staff.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of cost management and budget adherence.
• Commitment to maintaining high hygiene and food safety standards.
Salary:
73.000,00 AUD Annual
