Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Energy Engineer to join our team at Fidelity Trade. As an Energy Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize energy efficiency, reduce costs, and increase sustainability within the company's operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct energy audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop analytical reports on energy consumption and costs.
- Develop and implement energy management plans, policies and procedures to improve energy efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Identify and evaluate alternative energy solutions and renewable energy sources for implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement energy-saving projects, including but not limited to lighting upgrades, equipment upgrades, and building management system improvements.
- Monitor energy usage and identify opportunities for energy conservation through data analysis and regular reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local and federal energy regulations and standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with energy providers, suppliers, and contractors.
- Provide technical expertise and support to internal and external stakeholders on energy-related matters.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in energy technology and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in energy management, energy engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of energy efficiency principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with renewable energy sources and alternative energy solutions.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
