Plumber & Gasfitter - Tradesperson

We are a small family fun business seeking an experienced Plumber/Gasfitter for Fulltime / Sub-Contractor work. We mainly specialize in Granny Flats but also do extensions/additions etc with jobs in various locations north and south of the CBD. Looking for someone who works well as a team member where required but also capable of working on their own. You will need to be responsive, on time and professional, finding solutions to problems, and follow procedures as our reputation is very important to us and we value our clients.

Skills Required to be considered for this role:
· Minimum of 5 years work experience within the plumbing industry in Australia.
· Must have valid Plumbing & Gasfitting Tradesman qualifications.
· Have a positive attitude and attention to detail.
· Experience with new housing / residential plumbing preferred.
· Have strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure projects are finished to a high standard and timely manner through monitoring and guidance.
· Ability to use computer software eg: Tradify is desirable, but not essential. training can be provided if required.
· The ability to accurately read and interpret plans and specifications.
Certifications & Qualifications Required
· Valid Drivers License.
· Current Tradesperson Plumbing & Gasfitter Licence.
· Construction industry white card.
· Great communication skills.
· Highly motivated.
· Well presented, reliable and punctual.
· Take ownership and pride in workmanship.
· Ability to work in a Team and Independently.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Conduct work in a clean and professional manner.
• Complete tasks.
• Work independently.
• Read and understand plans.
• Working in all aspects of new housing from pre lays, drains, tube-outs, sanis and final fit offs.
• Flexibility to work with apprentices and other trades onsite.
