Formwork Carpenter

We are currently looking for a experience Formwork Carpenter to join our team.

The successful applicant will report to the site supervisor on a daily basis, some of the following tasks are as follows:



Creating forms for bridges, foundations, beams and staircases

Building structures on site using wood or putting together metal frames that have been made elsewhere

Dismantling casts without damaging them, so that they can be used again

Measuring, cutting and shaping wood or metal

Working closely with your team to pour concrete into moulds

Checking work for accuracy

To be considered for this position the successful applicant will need to have the following qualifications or skills:



AQF Certificate III or IV in the relevant field,

Or

A minimum of 3 years experience in the field will substitute for the formal qualification

2-3 years of Work experience as a formwork carpenter.



Hold a current OH&S White card

Have experience as a formwork carpenter

Be able to work from drawings

Have a keen eye for detail & strong OH&S focus

Ability to use power and hand tools

Be competent in reading drawings/plans

Have full working rights in Australia
