Job Description
Evado Studios Hawthorn is a Physiotherapy and rehab studio. Our mission is to give our clinical patients the belief and confidence to take their health to the next level. We do this by having a cohesive team of Physios and professionals as well as having systems and processes to support this mission.
Our Facilities Manager plays an important role by supporting the Principal and Practice Manager in relation to the physical space we occupy. The Facilities Manager works according to a checklist that covers daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly tasks.
Relating to our equipment, this position will see you taking on maintenance, repairs, construction,ordering, training of staff members, cleaning and more. Ensuring we fulfill certain obligations of our lease including maintenance reports of heating/cooling and liasing with fire safety contractors will be required.
Regarding our cloud-based softwares, this position includes monitoring our use of information technology in order to deliver our services. This includes managing software subscriptions and delivery of service programs from team members to our customers. It also covers looking for new ways to obtain a competitive edge here.
Regarding the marketing and presentation of our facility on Burwood Road, this position covers all aspects of visual marketing including arranging photo shoots, communications to our database, printing and distribution of collateral and more. Our precinct is highly competitive so ensuring our premises is presented well is a key tom our success.
Regarding customer service, the position includes managing memberships of our patients. This covers their sale, customer enquries via reception/email/telephone, payment administration and more.
The Facilities Manager also must induct and train new staff members in day-to-day processes relevant to their position. This can be extended to development of in-house training programs for other team members to ensure quality control of our services. Another responsibility to ensure the facility runs smoothly is managing the annual and personal leave of employees.
Finally, analysing key performance indicators including financial metrics and certain lead indicators is something you will report to our Principal and Director. This also covers strategic measures to improve business results.
Given the exercise environment of our studio, we require individuals to have a Bachelor degree in Exercise Science, Physical Education or similar. Past experience will be required as the demographic of the Hawthorn area is one of high expectation. Being able to converse with our customers and have difficult conversations may be required. For these reasons, we are unable to consider candidates without experience.
