Job Description
Position: Contract Administrator
Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 plus 11.5% super
Hours: 38 hours
Mode: Full time
Location: 82 Drake Blvd Altona Meadows VIC 3018
Experience required: Minimum 2 years experience in relevant roles
Tasks and Responsibilities included but not limited to:
• Develop, review, and negotiate variations to contracts, project schedules, and services.
• Ensure all contractual obligations are clearly defined, managed, and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee the preparation, management, and tracking of project contracts, including amendments and variations.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Coordinate responses to inquiries related to contracts and projects, addressing issues promptly and efficiently.
• Monitor project progress to ensure it aligns with contract specifications and timelines.
• Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to contracts, project scope, services provided, and any impact on stakeholders.
• Oversee the accurate preparation and submission of project-related paperwork, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
• Collect, analyze, and report on data associated with ongoing projects, providing regular updates to senior management.
• Prepare and review reports, submissions, and other documentation related to organizational activities and project outcomes.
• Advise senior management on matters requiring attention, particularly in relation to contractual obligations, project progress, and any necessary corrective actions.
• Facilitate communication between various stakeholders, ensuring clarity in contract terms, expectations, and project requirements.
• Oversee the work of contractors, ensuring that deliverables meet agreed-upon standards and timelines.
• Assist in the review and arrangement of new office accommodations as needed, ensuring compliance with organizational needs and contractual agreements.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field. (Preferred but not mandatory).
Other requirements:
• At least 2 years of experience in contract administration, preferably within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and project management.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management software.
