Salary: $95,000 to $105,000plus 11.5% superannuation
Hours: 38 hours
Mode: Full time

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Engineer to join our team on full-time basis working a minimum of 38 hours per week. The ideal candidate will play a key role in optimizing our processes, improving efficiency, and contributing to the overall success of our operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline production workflows, reduce waste, and implement cost-saving solutions.

Tasks and responsibilities included but not limited to

• Operate and Analyze and optimize production processes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and ensure high-quality standards.
• Develop and implement systems for efficient material handling, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
• Create work measurement systems and evaluating work samples to create labour usage guidelines.
• Design and improve layouts of facilities, production lines, and workspaces to maximize space and flow.
• Design mechanical equipment, machines, components, products for manufacturing, and plant and systems for construction in accordance with engineering principles and safety regulations
• Conduct time and motion studies to identify areas for improvement in workflow and operations.
• Collaborate with management to assess current systems, develop new strategies, and recommend improvements.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to continuously drive process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all processes.

Qualifications:
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

Other skills and requirements:
• Strong analytical skills and experience with process modelling and analysis tools.
• Familiarity with CAD software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
