Job Description
Position: Contract Administrator
Salary: $73,500 to $85,000 plus 11.5% superannuation
Hours: 38 hours per week
Mode: Full-time
Location: Level 2 401 Sussex Street Sydney NSW 2000
Experience required: Minimum 2 years’ experience in relevant roles

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role will be critical in managing, negotiating, and administering contracts, programs, projects, and services to support the organisation’s operational and strategic goals.
Tasks and responsibilities included but not limited to:
• Develop, review, and negotiate variations to contracts, programs, projects, and services, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and compliance requirements.
• Maintain an organised and accessible system for tracking contracts and related documentation, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible.
• Review and assess contract terms to ensure they are consistent with organisational needs and legislative requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for inquiries related to contracts, projects, services, and program issues.
• Resolve contractual or service-related issues promptly, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to find solutions.
• Manage all paperwork related to contracts, projects, and services, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and organisational policies.
• Prepare and review reports and submissions on contract status, project outcomes, and relevant organisational activities.
• Collect and analyse data associated with ongoing projects and contract outcomes, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Work collaboratively with Contractors, and other key personnel to ensure successful project outcomes and contract delivery.
• Advise senior management on contractual matters, risks, and compliance issues, implementing their decisions accordingly.
• Oversee work conducted by contractors, ensuring adherence to contract specifications, timelines, and budget.
• Review and arrange new office accommodations as required, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s operational needs and financial considerations.
Qualifications:
• Diploma of Contract Management or equivalent (Preferred but not mandatory).
Skills and other requirements:
• Proven experience in contract administration, project management, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of contract law, project delivery, and contract negotiation processes.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also collaborating effectively within a team.
