Metal Fabricator Welder

TEHMAR Pty Ltd is in need of a Metal Fabricator – Welder –
Location: Remote site – Western Australia.
We are a service, support and maintenance business and maintain various specialised types of materials handling machinery and its associated equipment for the ports and mining industries.
An opportunity exists in our team for an experienced Metal Fabricator - Welder
In this role, you will be required to:
- Assess materials required for projects and repairs.
- Competently read shop drawings, blue prints and equipment operators manuals.
- Be able to use free hand flame-cutting torches and other types of metal cutting machines.
- Clean and prepare sections of damaged containers for repairs
- Be able to perform various types of metal joining process, including vertical up welds
- Be able to shape and bend pipes/piping, using both cold and heat.
- Be able to assist others in the workshop with welding tasks as directed.
- Ensure a positive awareness and approach towards Safety

Qualifications:
A certificate III + on job training of 2 years or certificate IV or 3 years in lieu/in substitute of formal qualifications.

Other:
Remuneration: Salary depending on skill level: $73,000.00 to $83,000.00 + Superannuation per year
This is a full-time role (40 hours per week or equivalent).
