About you
Ferrycarrig Construction Pty Ltd are currently seeking a Contracts Administrator to plan and undertake administration of contracts, organisational programs, special projects, and support services. To be a success in this role we are seeking an individual with relevant degree qualification in engineering, construction management or quantity surveying, or at least 3 years relevant experience. The role will require, prior experience in sub-contractor management experience within the construction space.
Tasks Include (but not limited to)
Coordinate and let contracts to subcontractors and suppliers to maintain the construction and resources schedule.
Assist in the administration of the subcontractors performance against the scope of works and construction program and control authorisation of variations, extensions of time and payments ensuring that subcontractor payment claims are assessed within the timeframes set out in legislative requirement
Ensure that supplier invoices are assessed and processed within the required timeframes.
Prepare and assist in the maintenance of cost control, forecast revisions and project financial reporting.
Prepare head contract payment claims, client correspondence and any other head contract obligatory requirements to be checked and assessed by Senior Contracts Administrator
Procurement of subcontractors and suppliers within discipline(s) by review of tender design, preparation of scope and technical documentation, preparation of S/C tender list, management of tender process, vetting and recommending tenders, and engaging subcontractors.
Coordination of activities and tasks associated with the development of overall planning and programming.
Assist in the establishment and monitoring of the procurement program and off-site activity schedule
Assist with subcontract management and subcontract administration, including assistance in preparation of monthly final forecast cost estimates (FFC’s) for trade packages
Skills & experience
Diploma in Project Administration or higher
Ideally 3-5 years' post grad experience as a Contract Administrator
Knowledge of Sydney construction market and subcontractors
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
