Job Description
We are Mansys Pty Ltd, recruitment consultants. Our client, Singh Brothers & Co Pty Ltd, based out of Franklin, ACT is actively looking for a Motor Mechanic to join its team on a full-time basis. The business is an automotive repair shop that provides repairs and maintenance services to light weight vehicles.
Main Responsibilities of the role are-
• Diagnose vehicle issues through visual inspection and computerized diagnostic tools.
• Repair or replace damaged or worn-out parts, including engine parts, brakes, and suspension components.
• Diagnose and repair transmission issues, improving vehicle functionality and longevity for customers.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble mechanical components to enhance vehicle safety and reliability.
• Consistently adhere to safety regulations, ensuring a secure work environment for both staff and clients.
• Maintain accurate service records and report findings to customers and management.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance, including fluid changes and inspection of mechanical features, including gear ratios, on a variety of vehicle types.
• Maintain current knowledge through ongoing education and specialized training.
• Install new or rebuilt transmission into vehicles, ensuring correct calibration and optimal performance.
Must Have —
• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
• Relevant Diploma in Automobile Engineering will be given high weightage
• Atleast 2 years of Australian experience in same occupation

• Good communication skills for effectively explaining technical issues to non-technical customers.

Successful candidate will be on an annual salary of $75,000 to $90,000 Plus Superannuation.
