Summary:
We are Mansys Pty Ltd, recruitment consultants. Our client, Esprit Network Pty Ltd, based out of Sydney (NSW) is actively looking for an experienced Network and Systems Engineer to join its team on a full-time basis. The business supports customers with different security systems. These are Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), Intercoms, Access Controls and Networking Solutions. They are seeking a skilled and experienced Computer Network and Systems Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize computer network infrastructures for its clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the network's availability, performance, and security while also providing technical expertise in supporting their multiple clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Network Design and Architecture: Design, plan, and implement network architecture, including LAN, WAN, and cloud environments, to meet the business needs.
Network Configuration and Optimization: Configure and optimize network devices, such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN solutions, to ensure efficient and secure data transmission.
Network Security: Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewall rules, intrusion detection systems, and VPN protocols, to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access.
Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Utilize network monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve network issues, troubleshoot connectivity problems, and ensure network performance.
Documentation: Maintain accurate network documentation, including network diagrams, configuration files, and change logs, to support troubleshooting and change management processes.
Project Management: Lead or participate in network-related projects, such as network upgrades, migrations, and expansions, from planning through implementation.
Capacity Planning: Monitor network performance and plan for capacity expansion as needed to accommodate business growth.
Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, including system administrators, security specialists, and application developers, to ensure seamless network and system integration.

Required Technical Skills:
Network Protocols: Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, EGRP, BGP, OSPF, and other networking protocols.
Routing and Switching: Strong knowledge of router and switch configurations, including Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent platforms.
Firewalls and Security: Experience with firewall management, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPN technologies, and network security best practices.
Load Balancing: Familiarity with load balancers and their configuration for high availability and scalability.
Network Troubleshooting: Strong troubleshooting skills using diagnostic tools and packet capture analysis (Wireshark, tcpdump).

Must Have:
• Atleast a bachelor's degree in IT/ Electronics or a related field.
• Proven experience as a network engineer or a similar role, with a minimum of 2 years in networking.
• Worked for atleast 2 years in multiple client environment
• Must have Cisco Certified Network Professional Certification (CCNP)
• Must have atleast one year of Australian experience in Networking

Successful candidate will be on an annual salary of $ 75,000 to 90,000 Plus Superannuation.
