About Us: CCDS Raven Support is a leading provider of disability support services in Brisbane. We focus on empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives. We are currently seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our compassionate team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support to individuals with ASD before and after school.
Assist with daily routines and promote independence in daily living tasks.
Implement and adhere to structured routines to ensure stability for the individual.
Foster a positive and encouraging environment to help build confidence and social skills.
Collaborate with families and other professionals to develop support strategies tailored to individual needs.
Maintain regular communication regarding progress and any challenges faced.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is essential.
Strong understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by individuals with disabilities.
Ability to follow and maintain strict routines and schedules.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to be patient, confident, and assertive.
First Aid and CPR certification is preferred but not required.
A relevant qualification in disability support, social work, or a related field is a plus.
