Job Description
DUTIES:
Menu Development
Managing house standards and consistency
Effective communication with front of house management and staff
Managing the staff rostering to ensure the correct number of staff are on for the shift
Develop original & seasonal dishes and being creative within the theme of dishes being served
Working with the kitchen team to bring on and train new and existing staff and control stock, while always maintaining standards
Working with a professional and dedicated kitchen team to hone your creative skills
Sticking to budget while still sourcing high quality when ordering ingredients/stock
Making sure that food safety regulations are behind adhered to and enforced
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
This position will require the following from the employee –
Is hard working and has a strong work ethic
Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen
Ability to work across multiple sections in the kitchen
Loves to work in a great team environment
Can provide high quality food with attention to detail
Able to handle high volumes of meals
A desire for long term employment
