$75,000- $80,000 p.a plus Super
Omega Auto Rentals Pty Ltd is a trusted vehicle rental company based in Coopers Plains, QLD, offering a wide range of cars, vans, and commercial vehicles to customers across the region. We are currently seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee and manage our growing fleet of rental vehicles. This is a full-time role requiring hands-on experience and a proactive approach to fleet coordination, maintenance, and client service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement and monitor strategies for efficient vehicle fleet operations aligned with the company’s goals.
• Oversee the acquisition, leasing, registration, and disposal of vehicles.
• Coordinate regular maintenance, inspections, servicing, and repairs to ensure all vehicles remain roadworthy and in optimal condition.
• Maintain up-to-date records for fleet compliance, registration, insurance, and fuel consumption.
• Schedule and dispatch vehicles in response to customer bookings and operational needs.
• Manage relationships with service providers, vehicle suppliers, and insurance companies.
• Monitor fleet performance and expenses; analyse usage data to recommend cost-effective measures.
• Supervise and train vehicle service staff and ensure adherence to safety and operational policies.
• Liaise with customers and staff to resolve vehicle-related issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company standards.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Diploma or higher qualification AND at least 1 year of post-qualification employment
2. Experience in a highly relevant field (e.g., Automotive Management, Logistics, Transport Management) is preferred
Desirable Skills & Experience:
• Demonstrated experience in managing or coordinating a vehicle fleet.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance schedules and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with vehicle booking systems and asset management software.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a fast-paced environment.
