Mygration Pty Ltd has been engaged by our client based in Burleigh Heads, QLD, 4220 to recruit a skilled candidate for the following Full-time position: Instructional Multimedia Designer for a base wage between $80,000- $85,000 per year, depending on skill level. + Superannuation.

Position Summary
Mygration is engaged to seek a creative Instructional Multimedia Designer to develop innovative digital learning solutions for our corporate compliance and professional training programs. This role combines expertise in multimedia design with instructional design principles to create engaging e-learning modules, interactive content, and data-driven learning experiences aligned with regulatory standards and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design/develop e-learning modules & multimedia content
• Create compliance training (e.g., anti-money laundering, governance) using videos, simulations, and infographics

2. Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs)
• Partner with legal/compliance SMEs to translate regulations into accessible learning materials

3. Apply instructional design principles
• Use ADDIE/SAM models to structure courses; embed assessments for certification readiness

4. Update e-learning content
• Refresh existing modules to reflect regulatory changes (e.g., ATO/ASIC updates)

5. Embed data tracking in learning programs
• Integrate x API/LMS analytics to capture completion rates, assessment scores, and feedback

6. Research internal/external program context
• Audit industry trends (e.g., microlearning, VR) to enhance technical training efficacy

7. Consult management on training options
• Advise on cost-effective digital strategies for staff upskilling and client certifications

8. Foster a learning culture
• Curate a reusable content library for rapid deployment across client projects

Essential Qualifications & Skills
• Mandatory: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Digital Media, Educational Technology, or related field (AQF Level 7+) 13.
• Minimum 3 years in multimedia design with a focus on e-learning development.
• Portfolio Requirement: Submit 3+ samples demonstrating interactive learning modules (e.g., SCORM packages, video demos) 3.

Technical Proficiencies
• Design Software: Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator), Articulate Storyline, Captivate
• Data & Analytics: LMS administration (e.g., Moodle, Canvas), xAPI, competency assessment tools
• Instructional Models: ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy, adult learning principles 12
• Business Alignment: Regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 31000), project management (Agile)

Soft Skills
• Stakeholder negotiation for brief scoping
• Visual storytelling for complex compliance topics
• Critical analysis of learning efficacy metrics

Performance Metrics
• Content Effectiveness: 90%+ learner satisfaction & 85%+ assessment pass rates.
• Timeliness: 100% of projects delivered within regulatory deadlines.
• Innovation: Annual integration of ≥2 emerging technologies (e.g., AI-driven simulations)
• The company specialises in audit, risk, and compliance training for ASX-listed companies and financial institutions.

This role directly supports:
• Development of accredited courses (e.g., RG146 compliance).
• Client-facing digital learning platforms.
• Data-driven redesign of legacy training materials.
