Position: Telecommunications Steelwork Fabricator (Metal Fabricator – ANZSCO xxxxxxx)
Salary: $77,000 per annum plus 12% superannution
Hours: 38
Mode: Full-time

We deliver high-quality services in Wireless Network Build, SAED Design and Deployment, AWS & DevOps Solutions, Software and App Development, and Managed Cybersecurity Services across Australia.
As part of our continued growth in infrastructure delivery, we are seeking a Telecommunications Steelwork Fabricator (Metal Fabricator – ANZSCO xxxxxxx) to support structural fabrication and deployment for wireless network infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Fabricate and install steel mounts, brackets, and reinforcement structures for telecommunication towers and rooftop sites
• Interpret technical drawings and fabricate bespoke steel components for antenna and equipment mounting
• Perform welding, cutting, and modification work as per design specifications
• Collaborate with SAED and deployment teams to ensure compliance with structural and safety standards
• Conduct on-site fabrication and steelwork tasks during wireless deployment and tower strengthening projects
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop standards in line with WHS protocols
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in structural steel fabrication, preferably within telecom or infrastructure sectors
• Trade qualification in Metal Fabrication or relevant Certificate III (or equivalent)
• Proficiency in MIG/TIG/ARC welding and the use of fabrication machinery
• Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings
• Understanding of Australian standards for steel structures and WHS compliance
• Rigging or working at heights certifications (highly regarded)
Preferred Attributes:
• Prior experience in telecommunications tower work
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in field environments
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
