We are seeking a full-time Nursing Support Worker to join their dedicated care team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Clinical & Care Support:
• Assist residents with daily living activities including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal assistance while promoting independence
• Measure and record vital signs, weight, and fluid intake/output as directed
• Support medication management by reminding residents and assisting with medication administration under nurse supervision
• Assist with basic wound care, applying dressings, and reporting any changes to nursing staff
Therapy & Rehabilitation Assistance:
• Implement prescribed therapy plans including gentle exercises and mobility support
• Assist occupational therapists and physiotherapists during treatment sessions
• Support dementia care by implementing behaviour management strategies
Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper records of care provided
• Document changes in resident conditions, behaviours, or care needs
• Complete incident reports and risk assessments when required
Resident Wellbeing & Engagement:
• Provide emotional support through active listening and meaningful conversation
• Encourage resident participation in social activities and community programs
• Advocate for resident rights and preferences in all care decisions
Safety & Compliance:
• Follow infection control protocols including proper hand hygiene and PPE use
• Assist with manual handling using correct equipment and techniques
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, or near misses promptly
What They’re Looking For:
• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent
• 1+ years of full-time experience in aged care or disability support
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (issued within last 5 years) is preferable
• Current flu vaccination & COVID-19 immunisation
• Reliable transport
• Compassionate nature with strong communication skills
