Role Responsibilities:

-Conduct detailed diagnostics, repairs, and upgrades of electric bicycle components, focusing on electrical systems including batteries, motor units, and wiring, to ensure top performance and longevity.
-Expertly manage the servicing and maintenance of e-bike power systems, from troubleshooting to component-level repair, aligning with industry quality and safety standards.
-Carry out routine and complex service tasks on both traditional and electric bikes with precision and care, ensuring all cycles meet our rigorous performance criteria.
-Engage in the installation and configuration of electric bike software, understanding the interplay of firmware and hardware to enhance user experience.
-Source and inventory high-quality electrical components and accessories, understanding the ecological footprint and sustainability of each item.
-Document service processes, maintain service logs, and communicate effectively with customers about the care and maintenance of their e-bikes.
-Guide and inform customers on the features of e-bikes, including energy conservation and environmental benefits, enhancing customer knowledge and promoting sustainable practices.
-Pursue ongoing professional development to stay at the forefront of e-bike technology and repair techniques, embracing innovation and best practices in bicycle mechanics.
-Implement workplace safety and environmental management policies, contributing to a culture of safety and respect for the environment.
-Assist in training team members, sharing knowledge about the latest e-bike technologies and maintenance strategies to ensure a knowledgeable and skilled service department.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Relevant qualifications and/or At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience
- Demonstrated skill in electrical diagnostics and repair, with a thorough understanding of e-bike mechanics and electronics.
- Commitment to excellent customer service, with the ability to convey technical advice in a clear and approachable manner.
- Strong teamwork capabilities, working collaboratively to meet the company's goals and standards.
- A proactive approach to personal development, with a willingness to engage in further training and education in e-bike technologies.

Salary:

A competitive remuneration package between $70,000 and $80,000 plus superannuation is on offer, commensurate with experience and aligned with the specialized skills required in e-bike servicing and maintenance.
