An exciting opportunity for qualified Carpenter

Salary: 70K-80K plus superannuation

We are a renovation company specialising in bathroom, kitchens, renovations and extensions and looking for a carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis in the Inner North / Western / Eastern suburbs.
The role will include:
• Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
• Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, cabinets, counters and molding
• Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, and other materials
• Help erect, level, and install building framework with the aid of rigging hardware and cranes
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
• Instruct and direct laborers and other construction helpers
• Understand drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures
• Prepare drawings for cabinetry, framing and other construction projects on-site
• Interpret client requests and provide mock-ups for clients to approve prior to commencing work
• Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by cabinets, vanities, tub and shower surrounds and other projects based on demand using raw materials or pre-constructed items
• Frame room additions as needed for client
• Select and evaluate materials for defects
• Follow all code requirements for kitchens and baths in remodelling projects
• Lay out floorings, roofings or drywalls ensuring they are leveled and compatible
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
Essential Qualification
Most occupations in this unit group have a level of skill commensurate with the qualifications and experience outlined below.
Certificate III in Carpentry or higher
Must have at least two years experience

Ability to work in a Team and Friendly Attitude
To be considered, you will demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills, a can do attitude as well a friendly and professional manner. Attention to detail is a must, as is demonstrated carpentry expertise.
Please note that Permanent Resident shall be preferred for the role.
