Our Client EMPORIUM HOTELS PTY LTD ABN – xxxxxxx 3708 – Located in Southbank, Brisbane, QLD is seeking a Full-time Café Manager for between $74,000 - $76,000 a year.

A full-time opportunity exists for a motivated Café Manager to join our team The key focus of the Cafe Manager role is to Manage the operation of the outlet, ensuring the guest experience meets the Emporium standard, providing supervision and training to the team and ensuring the consistent delivery of food & beverage items whilst meeting Key Performance Indicators set. To be accountable on a shift basis for the operations of the outlet through effective people skills. To support revenue initiatives and maintain cost control and provide ‘Total Customer Satisfaction’. A ‘hands on’ approach is required as is to work as part of a team to provide efficient food and beverage service. The successful candidate needs to:
Duties and responsibilities:
• Liaise with the Director of F&B to ensure the smooth running of the day to day operational aspect of the outlet, staying well informed of guest objectives and expectations;
• Assist in the preparation of monthly reports, commenting on key performance indicators and action taken to keep on target.
• Conduct a briefing to the F&B Team, F&B Team Leader, prior to each shift to ensure daily operational requirements, event orders and special guest needs are fully explained;
• Regularly liaise with the Kitchen Team and take responsibility for leading the communication during service times;
• Develop, implement and update outlet SOP’s and service standards;
• Take responsibility for On the Job Training for F&B team members, ensuring they can adhere to and perform the key responsibilities of their job role, as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s);
• Keep tables, service areas and hotel floors clean and tidy as per procedure.
• Maintain hygienic food and drink service techniques during service.
• Take responsibility for your designated section and station.
• Promptly answer the telephone and maximize sales opportunities through knowledge of product and suggestive selling.
• Maintain records of stock level and financial transactions

Qualification and work experience:
• At least Diploma in Management or related fields.
• Have at least 2 years work experience in the similar position
• Excellent with POS system
• Attention to details
• Professional in customer services.
• Ability to work under pressure
• Required highly skilled in problem solving
