Job Description

Role: Event Coordinator
Venue: Australian War Memorial
Salary: $73,500 - $78,000 + super
Work Type: Full Time Salaried

The Australian War Memorial combines a shrine, a world-class museum, and an extensive archive. This place of national significance blends history and culture with modern dining offerings open to the general public. Our dining offerings include a cafe, restaurant and event spaces.

We are seeking an experienced event coordinator to work alongside the current team to deliver amazing experiences for clients. This varied role will allow you the skills and opportunity to work with clients from start to event execution as you perform operational support duties for operational execution and administrative coordination, supporting the senior managers.

To be successful in this role:
Ability to work unsupervised organizing, planning logistics and event preparation
Administrative experience coordinating events, liaising with the Sales Manager and the clients
Proven experience planning, setting up for & delivering quality food & beverage events in a premium venue
You will be personable, creative and have high attention to detail
