Our client, Duggal Services (Healing Hands Complete Care) is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering high-quality care and support to patients across Sydney and regional NSW. They are currently seeking multiple (7-10) experienced Nursing Support Worker/ Assistant in Nursing to join their team on Full Time basis in Sydney and around.
Position Overview:
As a Nursing Support Worker/ Assistant in Nursing, you will provide essential support to HHCC nursing staff and patients, ensuring a high standard of care. This role is perfect for a compassionate individual with valid certification and experience who is eager to make a difference in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist registered nurses and healthcare staff in delivering direct patient care.
• Support patients with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Follow therapy and care plans, including interventions for patients.
• Monitor and report changes in patients' health conditions and ensure all concerns, including complaints related to care, are promptly communicated to nursing staff.
• Assist with rehabilitation exercises, basic medical treatments, and ensure timely delivery of medications under supervision.
• Help patients with mobility and transport within the facility.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all patients.
• Comply with infection control practices and health and safety protocols.
Must Have:
• Certificate III or higher qualification in related field.
• Atleast 2 year of experience in a similar field, preferably in aged care, hospital, or healthcare settings.
Skills Required:
• Strong understanding of patient care practices and protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays, if required.
Successful candidate will be on an annual salary of $70,000 to $80,000 Plus Superannuation.
