Motor Mechanic General

The role will require the individual to work as a Motor Mechanic and carry out the following key duties:

• Carry out vehicle diagnostics using scan tools to identify mechanical issues
• Remove and install various types of transmissions
• Perform clutch replacements
• Rebuild automatic transmissions and repair transmission problems according to manufacturer specification
• Test vehicles and diagnose faults
• Train and mentor staff and apprentices in diagnostic and repair techniques

The successful candidate will require:
Certificate III in light Vehicle automotive or equivalent
Over 5 years experience in the automotive trade preferred
To diagnose transmission problems and repair to manufactures specifications
Demonstrated problem solving and diagnosis skills
Sound knowledge of workshop practices and WHS standards.
Excellent communication skills
Valid Driver's License require
