Community Worker for Prestige Staffing Solutions

Our Client PRESTIGE STAFFING SOLUTIONS - xxxxxxx – Located in Southport, QLD is seeking a Full-time position for Community Worker between $75,000 - $85,000 a year.

DUTIES:

• Assesses community needs and resources for health, welfare, housing, employment, training and other facilities and services.
• Liaises with community groups, welfare agencies, government bodies and private businesses about community issues and promotes awareness of community resources and services.
• Working with clients from diverse backgrounds to ensure their individual needs are supported while respecting their culture.
• Delivering services with compassion, integrity, and dignity.
• Assist clients in accessing the community.
• Assist clients in achieving rehabilitation goals.
• Support clients with judgment and decision making.
• Monitor client behaviour.
• Maintain accurate records and report writing.
• Provide feedback to the relevant Manager.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

This position will require the following

• Relevant qualification in community services and at least 2 years work experience
• A current Police Clearance
• Outstanding communication skills
• Diploma level AQF
