With our curated services, including therapeutic massages, rejuvenating sauna sessions, and our unique float therapy, you will guide guests on a journey of relaxation and renewal.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide expert massage therapy services, helping clients relieve stress, improve circulation, and alleviate muscular discomfort. In this role, you will deliver a variety of massages tailored to each client's specific needs, ensuring exceptional care and attention throughout every session. As part of our close-knit team, you will contribute to enhancing our clients' well-being while maintaining a serene and hygienic spa environment, ensuring every guest leaves feeling fully rejuvenated.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess clients’ physical conditions and discuss their needs to develop appropriate massage treatment plans
- Applying therapeutic touch to the body’s soft tissues, including muscles, tendons, and ligaments, to support the healing process.
- Using diverse techniques to optimize athletic performance, reduce the risk of injury, and promote recovery of the body to relieve pain, improve mobility and muscle recovery, and promote relaxation
- Advise clients on post-massage stretching, relaxation techniques, and general wellness practices
- Integrating various techniques such as acupressure, Shiatsu, and complementary tools like infrared lamps, wet compresses, ice, essential oils, and herbal/mineral remedies to support recovery.
- Evaluating clients' overall physical health and history, recommending targeted stretching and relaxation practices to improve mobility and well-being.
Skills And Qualifications
• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2).
• 3 years of work experience.
• Ability to handle busy service and ensure quality of food is maintained. Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Hardworking, positive attitude.
• Ability to work within a team and independently. Be available for weekdays, weekends, and nights.
