About the role
We have a unique opportunity in our Jimmy Choo Sydney Head Office for a Merchandiser who is passionate, organised, an excellent communicator and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
As Merchandiser, your role will be to implement Jimmy Choo’s global merchandising strategies, and localize these where necessary to increase sales and maximize profits. Not long only will you support our local team, but you will also work closely with our regional and global teams to ensure the best assortment in line with the Australian and New Zealand market needs.
The key role responsibilities include:
Execute merchandising strategies and achieve sales and profit targets.
Identifying opportunities to grow, improve and drive efficiency. Make data-driven decisions.
Prepare all weekly/monthly reports including sales and product analysis, forecasting, monitor category sales and sell-thru.
Work with the Global Planning team and monitor OTB planning.
Managing the buying campaign for the ANZ market, making qualitative and quantitative choices for the products according to instructions and based on past sales history and own knowledge of the industry.
Frequent and open communication with retail, maintaining a close relationship with the team regarding sales performance and product reactions. Monitor and analyze this feedback to make appropriate recommendations and inform sales strategies.
Manage and optimise the performance of the product lifecycle and work collaboratively to lower overstock risk.
Manage and maintain pricing strategies and outlet promotional campaigns.
Manage cycle counting process with the retail team, and facilitate investigations as needed. Support bi-annual stocktakes across stores and warehouse.
Support the stores to source stock from other markets as required, and follow up with stores for defective goods handling.
Manage Merchandising Assistant and oversee preparation of weekly replenishment allocations.
Liaise with Logistics and warehouse to provide updates of shipment status and ensure timely deliveries to stores.
Provide product training to frontline staff to ensure they have sufficient knowledge to maximize sales.
This is a full time, 38 hours per week opportunity based at our Sydney CBD head office. Hybrid working is available.
About you
3+ years of buying/merchandising experience
Premium or luxury retail experience preferred
Strong time management and demonstrated analytical skills
Ability to solve problems with consideration to business impact
Excellent in MS Excel and Powerpoint. Familiar with vlookup, Macros is a must
Ability to work on tasks independently and strong prioritization skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Base salary range - $80,000 - $100,000 per annum
