Welder/Fabricator

We are looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team at Mixers Australia, the largest 100% Australian owned and operated transit mixer manufacturer. The ideal candidate will have a steady hand and great attention to detail.
You must have proved experience (minimum 5 years) of mig & tig welding and experience with associated equipment (e.g. oxy cutting).
In this role you will:
Read blueprints and drawings, take & read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
Set up components for welding according to specification. E.g cut material to match measurements.
Operate tools e.g. angle grinders to prepare parts for welding.
Align components using callipers, rulers etc and clamp pieces.
Weld components in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead).
Inspect & test welds to identify flaws.
Maintain equipment and follow all safety procedures.
Be able to work independently or with limited supervision.
Have a forklift licence.
