Position: Baker
Salary: $75,000 to $80,000 Base Salary per year plus Superannuation
Hours: Full-Time

Bakers Delight Norfolk Plaza is a busy and popular local bakery that epitomizes freshness and quality. We are centrally located in the vibrant city of Warrnambool and seek to employ an enthusiastic Qualified Baker to join our team as soon as possible.

Your duties and responsibilities (not limited to) will include:
1. Checking the cleanliness and operation of equipment and premises before production runs.
2. Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
3. Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times.
4. Coordinating the forming, loading, baking and unloading of batches of baked products.
5. Operating machines which roll and mould dough or cut baked products.
6. Moulding dough into final shapes, placing dough in tins or on baking surfaces conduct final proof.
7. Loading tins or trays into ovens, keeping an eye on the oven temperatures and the appearance of the baked products.
8. Creating quality products as per accurately following bakery recipes.
9. Mixing ingredients to make icings and other decorations.
10. Empty, clean and grease baking trays, tins and take care of other cooking equipment.
11. Complete all relevant training as required.
Apply if you have:
1. AQF Cert III including at least two years of on-the-job training or AQF Cert IV.
2. In absence of formal qualifications, must have at least 3 years or more verifiable work experience.
3. Ability to be on your feet for most of the day and some level of manual handling.
4. Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints.
5. Passion, punctuality, reliability and good organisation skills
