A Goodyear Autocare workshop is looking for an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join their team.
Qualifications & experience
• Hold relevant & valid qualifications as required – Minimum Certificate III in Automotive (Light Vehicle) or Relevant Experience.
• Prior experience working as a light vehicle mechanic.
• Have a minimum of 1-2 years post apprenticeship experience.
• Hold a current valid Australian driver’s license.
• Have a high attention to detail & high accuracy level.
• You will be required to manage the shop at times and accommodate customers with bookings.
• Strong diagnostic skills.
Tasks & responsibilities
• High quality log book service and repairs on all makes and models of cars and 4WD’s.
• Capable to complete suspensions jobs.
• Dismantle or remove engine assemblies, transmission, steering mechanism and other components.
• Inspect and service emission control systems and petrol fuel systems.
• Use the diagnostic tools and diagnose electric faults.
• Recognize and report obviously worn or potentially dangerous components of customer vehicles.
• Have excellent diagnostic and analytical skills.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the business and other activities that serve the team and business as required.
