Location: Ravenhall, VIC (Melbourne's Inner North/West/East)
Salary: $77,000 per annum + Superannuation
Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site

The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Pastry Cook to join our dynamic production team at our Ravenhall facility.
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for pastry, a deep understanding of traditional and contemporary cooking techniques, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, bake, and finish a variety of pastries and desserts to meet production targets
• Follow and refine recipes to ensure consistency and quality across batches
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management
• Collaborate with the team to improve processes and introduce new products
• Ensure all products meet food safety and hygiene standards
• Operate kitchen equipment
• Clean up and maintenance of the kitchen area
• Monitoring & promoting kitchen hygiene & safety practices

Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Proven experience as a pastry cook or baker, ideally in a commercial or high-output kitchen
• Knowledge of Indian sweets or savoury pastries is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise recipes
• A team player with a proactive and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines
• Certificate III in Patisserie or equivalent qualification (preferred) or 5 – 10 years work experience in same occupation.
• A creative mindset with the ability to work both independently and in a team
• Passion for food, culture, and authentic brand storytelling
