Key Responsibilities:
• Apply engineering principles to adapt and modify established practices, processes, and technology for specific project needs.
• Analyse, test, and evaluate engineering systems, components, and materials to improve performance.
• Provide technical support to engineers in design, feasibility studies, and costing of projects.
• Monitor compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards in all engineering processes.
• Prepare and interpret technical documentation, drawings, and specifications.
• Support research, development, and implementation of engineering solutions.
• Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Investigate technical issues and recommend solutions based on testing and evaluation.
• Assist in preparing reports, proposals, and project documentation for management review.
To be successful in this role, it is essential you have:
• A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in an engineering discipline, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an engineering technologist or related role.
• Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to apply engineering principles to real-world projects.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical standards.
• Knowledge of compliance standards including WHS, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate across disciplines.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to new projects and evolving technologies.
• A strong commitment to innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
