DECS QLD Pty Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced ‘Carpenter’ to join our dynamic team. At DECS, our goal is to offer you the finest quality carpentry services. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Carpenter to join our team at Cooroy, Queensland 4563.

Some of the duties and responsibilities are including but not limited to the below:
• Assembling cut and shaped parts to form structures
• Review drawings to determine dimensions and installation method
• Preparing Layouts
• Erect and install structures
• Installing windows and doors
• Fitting off the internal skirting, architraves and exterior cladding
• Repair existing fitting if required
• Create Precise wood joints and execute complex woodworking techniques to ensure durability and good finish
• Using and understanding required PPE
• Working as per Australian standards and meeting client’s expectations

The successful applicant will have the following qualifications, experiences and skills;
• Must have completed at least Certificate III in Carpentry
• At least 2 years of relevant carpentry work experience
• Ability top interpret drawings and technical documents
• Ability to use hand and power tools with safety and effectively
• Attention to details and ability to take accurate dimensions and doing calculations as required
• Only Australian citizens, permanent residents and visa holders with unrestricted work rights will be considered for this role.

What is on Offer:
• Full-time permanent position
• Salary: $68,000 to $78,000 plus superannuation; depending upon previous work experience
