Disability & Welfare Services Manager

Our Client PRESTIGE STAFFING SOLUTIONS - xxxxxxx – Located in Southport, QLD is seeking a Full-time position for Disability & Welfare Services Manager between $75,000 - $85,000 a year.

DUTIES:

• Providing comprehensive leadership and management oversight for the organization centre
• Creating, executing, and monitoring protocols, policies, and benchmarks for medical, nursing, allied health, and administrative personnel.
• Coordinating and managing health and welfare initiatives and clinical services.
• Supervising and assessing resources allocated to health, welfare, leisure, housing, employment, educational, and other community establishments and hubs.
• Managing administrative functions like budget formulation, report generation, and allocation of resources for supplies, equipment, and services.
• Collaborating with other health and welfare service providers, boards, and funding organizations to address health and welfare service synergies and alignments.
• Offering counsel to governmental entities on strategies to enhance health and welfare services and amenities.
• Serving as the organization's representative in negotiations, conventions, seminars, public hearings, and forums.
• Overseeing the selection, training, and guidance of personnel

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

The successful applicant will be required to hold or be willing to obtain.
• Relevant qualification plus at least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Valid driver’s licence
• Right to work in Australia

• CPR and First Aid certificate
• NDIS worker screening clearance (yellow card)
• Working with Children Check (blue card)
• NDIS orientation module certificate
