Job Description
Position: Retail Manager
Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 + 11.5% superannuation
Hours: 38 hours
Mode: Full-time
Location: Ballarat North VIC 3350
Experience required: Minimum 1 year of experience in relevant roles.

As the Retail Manager of the store, you will have the complete responsibility of the store operations. Building & training a high performing team who maintains a high customer satisfactory. You’ll need to develop a good understanding of customer’s purchasing behavior and maintain products and promotion accordingly to provide an enticing shopping experience.
The candidate in mind will be expected to perform the following duties that include but are not limited to:
· You will have the total responsibility of the operation of the store
· You will be working along with the company director to reach short term & long term goals set for the store & Store budgeting
· Work towards targets include Fuel sales, shop sales, periodical audit scores & high customer service rating.
· Assist with console operation
· Fuel & Stock Management – You will be communicating with all the suppliers to procure shop stocks along with placing purchase order for fuel.
· Developing purchasing, pricing & promotional strategy based on customer feedback and past data.
· Staff Management – Hiring & training new staff, carrying out regular safety and training for team members & weekly rostering
· Administration Work – Maintaining all relevant records, maintaining the site to comply with OHS & local council regulations.
· Customer Service Management – dealing with customer feedbacks & complaints and taking necessary action to rectify.
Qualifications:
• Diploma of Business management or equivalent (Preferred but not mandatory).
Skills and Experience:
· Point of Sale (POS) software: 1 year (Preferred)
· Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 1 year (Preferred)
· Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
