Estimator

About the role
As Estimator you will be required to predict the cost and the man hours required to complete the project on time.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
• Take details from the sketch plans and prepare cost plans
• Prepare scope of work and send out packages to subcontractors for tendering
• Review quotes and negotiate when required
• Work with designers to ensure all design features are included in tenders
• Develop tender submissions including tender prices, tender letters and acceptances
• Create a subcontractor database
• Manage and maintain tender folders to the inOne Document standards
• Brief directors on projects, raise any issues
• Handover successful tenders to project managers/contract administrators
• Review projects with project managers/contract administrators to ensure there are no issues with budgets being included cost plans

Experience and qualifications
• Tertiary qualifications in Building, Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
• Minimum 3 years experience in estimating
• Essential combination of connect design, design development and documentation experience
• AutoCAD and 3D work expertise
