Job Description
As Designer you will be required to develop designs that reflect creatively within the clients’ requirements and budget compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
• Arrange site visits for all proposed sites and conduct the appropriate audits
• Create presentations that align with the client brief
• Space planning, changes to space planning and understand BCA guidelines, Australian Standards and DDA guidelines
• Liaise with estimators to develop furniture and fittings budgets in line with client and company budgets
• Provide input into concept development including finishes, furniture and fittings, ensuring the selections comply with company standard checklist
• Creation of finishes boards and concept image files for presentation to clients
• Safe keeping and retrieval of files, following the filing process
• Ensure work meets quality expectations
• Action any defects to streamline handover of final products immediately
• Liaise with head designer and site foreman to inspect sites under construction for site quality control
• Defects inspections completed independently or with Senior Designer

Experience and qualifications
• Tertiary qualification in Interior Design or Architecture
• Minimum one (1) year commercial experience
• Essential combination of connect design, design development and documentation experience
• AutoCAD and 3D work expertise
